Neil DeGrasse Tyson Refutes Video Claiming “The World is Flat”

On yesterday’s podcast I loudly expressed my joy to see the charlatan ‘astrophysicist’ Neil deGrasse Tyson confess that the world is flat. But it turns out, the video was a hoax and not true.

But it is of no matter. Real Men of science have long proved via Cartesian cartography that the world is flat, a mass surrounded by ice shelves, topped by an inflated bubble wrapping to protect us from space and the depths of hells guarded by dragons. In ancient times, the maps clearly said, “Hear Be Dragons” and in modern times those same places say “Bermuda Triangle” and such. It’s all the same.

So what a joy it was to see Neil DeGrasse Tyson finally admit the world was flat, but now it seems the Archmage of Scientic wizardry is claiming the video was all smoke and mirrors, created by some punk kids with too much time to play on the Internet highway.
